there’s nothing quite so sweet as a matching knit wardrobe for littles to bigs, with a few necessary adjustments made as we grow up. this pattern comes in four sizes for babies through to pre-teens, with an increasing amount of positive ease built into the shaping to mirror the boxy shape of its grown-up counterparts, juniper and cedar. if you need to increase or reduce the length and/or built-in ease to best accommodate your own littles, the easiest locations are a) ribbing (for length) and b) gutter edge stitches (for width). feel free to add or remove a repeat of the centre back panel, changing the stitches to plain stockinette and balancing the remaining chart repeats evenly across the centre. don’t forget to make the same adjustments to your left and right fronts to balance out your garment! sleeves are designed to be on the longer side of each age spectrum, allowing you to roll them up until they grow into them and get extra wear out of their handknits.
