the colours of nature (english translation) - g-uld denmark
i rarely carry products from anyone other than my own stock and/or collaborations, but i’m always excited to make exceptions for products i love that i know my customers will also love. with that in mind i was incredibly excited when the team g-uld denmark announced that they were translating their natural dyeing book into english, and even more excited when they approached me about being one of their first north american distributors! these hardcover beauties are chock full of gorgeous photography AND incredibly useful information, and thanks to the fact that we share a lot of growing climate similarities as the danish dyers, it's an especially good resource for canadian and northern american (as in northern section of the usa) dyers 🌿 i was honoured to be asked by them to carry this volume. i have actually learned about several local-to-me dye sources as a result of following their instagram feed, so i know this book is going to be a fantastic addition to my (and your) natural dye library. in their own words, the book contains:
